2007 Fall Clinic Wrap Up

 

Our fall clinic this year was a great time. Twelve people, including our clinician Staciana Winfield, braved the heat and played golf Friday at Marshalltown's American Legion course. Staciana won the longest drive hole, while Chris Cruise won the nearest to the pin hole. The group decided we wouldn't report any overall scores, but a good time was had by all.

Friday evening we enjoyed dinner at the Best Western Inn. We had nearly 60 coaches in attendance for the Rules Meeting, followed by an IHSSCA business meeting. We then enjoyed a social time and folks were able to spend more time with our clinician Staciana Winfield.

On Saturday Staciana spoke to the coaches in the morning, sharing her personal story and journey. She also spoke about her life as an assistant coach with the USC Swimming program. In the afternoon Staciana took 35 swimmers through a clinic of excellent stroke and technique ideas. We finished the day with Staciana providing an opportunity to get photos and sign autographs.
